University of Nebraska College of Law 2005In 2005, four Nebraska landscape paintings were commissioned by the University of Nebraska College of Law.The four paintings are permanently displayed in the College of Law. They were created by Nadine McHenry whose husband John is a College of Law graduate.The landscapes showcase McHenry's intimate knowledge of the rolling hills, waving grasses and expansive skies that distinguish the state of Nebraska. On April 8, 2005, a private reception was held in the North Hallway of the College of Law to unveil McHenry's commissioned works. Law College Dean Steven Willborn and Norman Geske, director emeritus of the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery & Scullpture Garden, congratulated McHenry on her works. |
